Lego Star Wars is a MUST HAVE for young and old SW fans
3 of 3 found this helpful Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Wii) is a must have for the young and old a like star wars fan! Not only does it highlight all the major aspects of all 6 episodes but it follows pretty closely the story lines of the star wars movies.
My thinking was that the lego version might be to kiddy for me (being a huge starwars fan in my mid thirties), but what I found was extremely the opisite of this. I found not only the lego star wars to be fairly realistic, but also by far one of the most enjoyable star wars games I have ever played. Plus it has the added extra bonus of being so extremely family frendly that I used the excuse that my son would love this! My son, being almost 3 doesn't quite get the controls yet, but he loves to fly the ships while I shoot for him. It is also not a game that you will put donwn anytime soon!
It has you running around from mission to mission looking for items collecting lego chips in order to unlock other caracters, items and levels. And you won't be able to unlock everything buy completing the level just once. You will find your self comeing back to levels over and over to unlock everything just to get that one caracter that you want to play with. I love playing with anakins ghost! But it took an unbelievable amount of chips to get him!
Not only does it have all the adventures of the original trilogy and the prequil trilogy and all the characters to play with and ships you can fly, but it has tons of additional side games that you can play, like the bounty hunter additional missions and the lego city total destruction missions. You will not run out of fun for a very long time!
If you are a star wars fan, Don't hesitate to get this just because it looks kiddy! Especially if you are a star wars fan who has kids! Try it, you might find yourself looking to buy other lego series games like Lego Indiana Jones: the complete saga! I know I am! At around $21 -$25 on e-bay you can get this game for a steal. Get it today!! I am glad I did! Haven't stoped playing it since.

RE 4: Wii Edition
1 of 1 found this helpful For those who are RE fans, you will be excited to know that RE 4 for the Wii is how the RE series, in my opinion, was always ment to be played!
This game follows really close to the other versions on the PS2, XBOX, and PS3. It gives you an over the sholder view like all of the other RE games you are used to playing and love so much. It is not like the other RE rail shooters that have come out specifically for the Wii. "Boo to you Capcom" Plus it has an added benifit of being able to interact with the game like no other system by using the power of the Wii remote. If you are a RE lover and have not played this game you are missing out.
If you know anything about the RE series, you know it is violent in a scary sadistic sort of way with lots and lots of gore! So if you are a parent worried about that sort of thing, this is not the game for you.
If you are into that, or are and RE fan, like I am, then this is a fantastic game! Graphics are great, not as good as Final Fanasy games, but then again not many games are.
The story line is solid with no goofy writing so it makes the plot believable and entertaining.
The puzzles are not as challenging as some of the RE's that I have played in the past, but that being said, some of the puzzles in the past RE's have been mind blowingly hard with out a guide. So this game will not frustrate you as much.
The plot moves along at a faily good pace without getting bogged down by trying to beat impossible bosses. That is not to say that the bosses are not challenging. You will probably have to play trought some of them twice before you overcome them but that is about it.
The good thing is that the game has automatic save points as well as manual save points so it allows you to go back to the automatic save point when you die instead of starting all over from your manual save point. When you start a boss the automatic save point starts at the boss. The key is to keep trying different tactics until you get them becuase there is usually a manual save point right after the boss.
There are lots of weapons that you can buy from the gun dealer at various points in the game. Plus unlockables which you can go back and play as different caracters. You will probably be enthralled with this one for a while!
If you love the Wii and you love RE this is most certainly the game for you. Hopefully Capcom will read this and start porting more of their games to the Wii (like RE 5).
For those that are not of the faint of hart, love to blow stuff up, mow things down, hard hitting violence (in a video game only way "I'm not sick, and don't promote violence") Then get this game and blow some shtuuufff Uuuuup! You won't regret it.

Wii Big League Sports
4 of 4 found this helpful The game is very deceptive. It says that it has 6 sports in 1 and the back of the game looks cool. You think that you are going to get 6 actual sports games that you can play, but when you stick it into your Wii and turn it on..... what do you get? About 24 mini games of the various 6 sports. Not that there is anything wrong with mini games, but they loose their fizzle very quickly, like in about the first 5 minutes. Mini games are cool if they acompany live action hard hitting full games such as in Madden, but if your whole game is minigames....Booooooooo!!!! I was disappointed after I got this for Christmas, opened it up and from the very first second I played it. I was even more disapointed when I got a second one for Christmas! I had hope that it was decent considering that it looked a whole lot like Wii sports. The back discription and pictures looked pretty cool and it was made by Activition. I thought surely that Activition wouldn't publish trash, but trash is exactly what they published!! I wish I had the $100 cash that it took to buy those games for me for Christmas because I tell you I woulden't spend a penny on this game! If I could rate this game lower than Poor I would! Take it from me, I grew up on the atari, original nintendo, 64, sega,.....you name it I have played it and this is junk!! If you are reading this and haven't opened the factory seal yet, Stop!! Don't, Run, Not walk to your nearist Wal-mart and get a refund and buy one of the hundreds of great games for the Wii like Call of Duty, any of the Lego series, Zelda, Mario Galaxy, and hey if you are into sports, get the real deal like NBA Live 09, or madden, PES 09 (Soccer), Mario Super Sluggers, I can go on and on but not about this game.... you will have to excuse me I just threw up in my mouth a little bit......whaaaahhwo : )
