Love the e-ink system

This is like reading a newspaper or book in broad daylight, or in regular room light. No eye strain since it is not back lit. You can read it in the brightest of sunlight, poolside, on the beach, in the park, or in a sunny room. It is not like an iPad which relies on a backlit screen and can be washed out in the sun. The black and white e-ink system has a resolution that appears to be that of print, newspaper or book quality. Also, since the screen only needs power during page turns, and not when staying on / or reading a page, the battery lasts for many weeks on a charge. Keeping it Simple is the key to the beauty of this reader. And the tens of thousands of books that are available thru Amazon, and free through websites and public libraries is huge. I have a phone with a Kindle app, an iPad with a Kindle app, and the Kindle itself. And yet, I prefer, by a long shot, to always read on the Kindle. Web pages and email, I'll use my other devices, but for books and newspapers, Kindle is it for me.

Amazing inter-connectivity.

Amazing inter-connectivity. Its a bit more expensive than a hue system, or individual LED smart bulbs, but in the long run a better choice. Works on old systems and new 3 wire home electrical. EZ Peasy.

Easy install, great app.

The Lutron dimmer works better than any other system I’ve tried and it looks great. It’s a little more expensive than others but worth the money.
