The Shadow Knows
The Shadow has long been my favorite superhero. While some of these stories might be considered corny by today's audience, I like the simple entertainment. I imagine myself being there all those years ago, listening to the program on radio. Now I listen to them in my car when I go places and it is a joy that makes the trips more fun.

Great Detective Series for Kids
I started reading the Three Investigators series with The Secret of Terror Castle. Now that I see them here, I am enjoying reading them all over again. Even though I am now reading authors such as Crais, Ludlum and Clancy, it is still fun to go back to the books I enjoyed as a kid.

A middle of the pack Spenser offering.
Not Parker's best story, but it is a good one. I have to wonder what happened to Hawk, and not having him around is a let down. The explanation, given briefly, is not all that satisfying, or that believable either. I would recommend it, with the caveat that other stories in this series are better.
