Pleasantly surprised - great quality at such a cheap price.
A very useful radio at a very cheap price. The radio also comes with many accessories, some you get for free with the radio and others you can buy separately.
I was a little skeptical of the quality with it being so cheap and was expecting a cheap plastic 'toy', but this little gem is in a class of its own.
There are two small issues with this radio, first, the manual is very basic and not that much help. You will learn much more by watching a few 'youtube' clips on how to use the radio than by reading the manual.
Secondly, the programming of channels is not the simplest when trying to program it by hand, but I purchased the USB Program Cable separately and again after watching a couple of YouTube clips for the initial installation the programming was easy.
At 5 watts output its a great little radio for the glove box of the car or for hiking, etc. I give it 5/5 because of price and performance.
