Replacement Battery for Zelos48g
Battery arrived in 3 day which is great.
Currently charging and waiting to use in my boat. Great company to deal with!

Zelos 48g Proboat
2 of 2 found this helpful The boat is nicely constructed, seems pretty durable. It wouldn’t start right out of the box. It says to not adjust carburetor but that’s just impossible.
As with all gas boats you definitely have to turn idle up quite a bit.
Mixed at 25:1 as recommended by manufacturer. I used 91 octane 100% alcohol free with Klotz techniplate Racing oil. Ran rich at factory settings and had trouble keeping it running.
Did some tuning on low side to lean it up a tad, started running better and better with each 1/16th of a turn.
Ran great with about a 1/4 turn clockwise and never stumbled thereafter. Temps were perfect. Clutch worked good. Definitely don’t fill the tank over 1/2 full. It balances out pretty good there. Ran factory prop angle for now. Gonna play around with it a little.
I’d run it 2/3throttle for the straights and 1/3 in the corners for a break in. The manuel contradicts itself and says no break in needed and then the way I did it. I was on a river so I didn’t want to chase it if it died so I kept it running 1/2 to 2/3 throttle “most” of the time.
I hammered her down a few times. It was running 45ish on fairly choppy water. It’s a mid 40’s boat bone stock.
It comes with factory noodles and front of hull with great styrofoam. That was nice! It is definitely an improvement over the rockstar boat. Self bailers, prop shaft is better designed. Stand works but definitely needs a custom. Prop upgrade and a few tweaks and I’ll update this post.
I’m happy so far...
