Little pump gets the job done
1 of 1 found this helpful It arrives just as you see in the picture. You get the + and - battery clamps, the pump, a thick tube, thin tube, and 2 clamps. The input and output nipples on the pump are identical, so the plastic tubes will connect either way. (Thick in, thin out OR thin in, thick out). The label on the pump (between the nipples) has arrows showing the fluid flow direction, so there is no confusion on which nipple is which. The only downside to the unit is the length of the power coil cord. I used mine to pump ATF into a transfer case. The power cord isn't long enough to reach from the battery to under the truck. Not even close. I took a lithium battery pack (designed for emergency jump starting) with me under the truck, connected the emergency battery's jumper cable outputs to the pump's power clamps, and it worked perfectly. You could use a motorcycle battery or cut and lengthen the pump's power cord. I watched as the ATF was sucked out of the bottle and pumped up into the transfer case filler hole. It was about 50 degrees F so the fluid was thick, but this did not cause a problem. Conclusion, this small pump is a HUGE labor saving device.
