Good product, rough package

The doll I received was in perfect condition, but her box has pretty bad damage. If you're an in-box collector be a little wary. She also did not have the lace skirt trim as in the picture but this is not a deal breaker for me. She is of beautiful quality and super precious! For the price + shipping, she was worth it despite the damaged box.

Barbie Ken Fashionistas Chill In Check Doll

The doll itself is cute and I love the face and body type. The material and clothes are good quality. His face and boots are detailed really well! He's the first asian Ken! It's a shame the glasses make it hard to see his lovely eyes. Downsides: Glasses are plugged into the head (like permanent doll earings) and were only removed after lots of tugging and hot water to soften the plastic. Came with a few factory blemishes like dirt on the face (wiped off easy enough) and a few paint mishaps. He also isn't very pose friendly - he does a mean "stand like a dead log" and that's about it. For play or display, he still does alright. Overall I do like him. I wouldn't spend more money on him than I did, though. My perspective is that of an enthusiast as opposed to a parent.

Beautiful addition to collection

This doll brings us the old Mattel quality that made collectors love Barbie in the first place. Her clothes are fine quality, her paint is beautiful, and I am in LOVE with her swirl bangs and pony tail. Because of this doll's age! -- The elastic crumbles and the hairspray is set more. With some cleaning and a new hairband she does just fine. This is only a factor of time. For lovers of Super star Barbie face, she is a must have.
