Good one-trick pony
This little pedal is a great bang for your buck, constructed well and looks pretty cool. It's a true one-trick pony in that the distortion is very harsh with strong drive, but if that's the sound you're looking for then this is the pedal for you!
One negative I have on this pedal is the lack of true tonal control. This is similar to using a giant bludgeoning club to fight with (big sound, ridiculous overdrive) versus using an elegant, more finesse-oriented sword in a fight (sharper, more crisp and focused drive).
Think of the difference between using a Fender Precision vs Rickenbacker 4001. The Ric will have that ONE tone that the Fender will never have, but the Fender is a lot more versatile. This pedal is more like the Ric than the Fender.
I do not regret buying this pedal as it takes up little space, does what it's supposed to do, very teliable, and relatively inexpensive.

Great bang-for-the-buck, but bare bones
A little learning curve like any pedal, but once you get the hang of it, it's exactly what it claims to be. It's a tough pedal made strong enough to be stomped on in normal use. More than anything, it's a high quality "bare bones" looper pedal.
Cons: No drum machine, no storage for presets, and the erase function isn't instantaneous (takes a split second; gotta practice for timing).
Pros: Relatively compact for what you get (not a pedalboard space hog), straightforward high quality looper (24 bit quality versus the Boss RC-300 being 16 bit quality, plus you won't get options paralysis), very affordable compared to the Boss RC series, very sturdy/feels like it can take a beating and keep going for years, and has 2 loop slots
Summary: This is best used for a reliable 2 track looper to add to a pedalboard at a very affordable price. If you want to cough up another couple hundred bucks for the Boss RC-300 that has more built-in features, understand that the extra cost is for those extras, but the RC-300 sacrifices quality to get the extra memory, being only 16-bit versus the Ditto X4 being 24-bit.
