Fixed my 2004 Honda Accord's 'wiper slap' problem

As expected, deterioration of the bushings in the original link rods allowed too much travel on my Accord's windshield wipers, resulting in a noticeable slapping sound. The wiper motor itself was not the problem. Removed the wiper motor, then easily replaced the link rods (also replaced part 18 on the diagram), reinstalled the motor, and the work was done.
