Fits and works perfectly

Works great with my Sony HDR-XR260VE camcorder. Good transfer speed and on Windows 7 x64, no drivers to install for camcorder. I use this with Sony's own software (PlayMemories Home) for Sony camcorders which is available as a free download from Sony website.

Reel value for money

I bought this reel after my other seized up on me during a match. I needed a replacement baitrunner/freespool reel of the same size for my feeder rod and this one fitted the bill. I was not expecting anything special for the price but what a surprise I got, This reel is so smooth in use and the baitrunner is so precise. The line lay is spot on and the anti-reverse doesn't judder like my other reel did. Is there room for improvement? Yes there is, a button to fold down the handle and a spare spool, but having said that, you would be looking at a reel at double the cost for these improvements. Why 5 stars then if it could do with improvements? Well, those improvements would not make this reel work any better and I purely judged it on just that. All in all, a cracking reel for the price, in fact I bought another one.
