A quality otoscope that is essential equipment for home use
I bought this to safely visualize and assess the external ear of my elderly client. The product arrived in a handsome box decorated with helpful photos of four inner ear conditions and containing several ear pieces and two batteries. The otoscope feels heavy/sturdy in the hand. The light functions well and effectively illuminated the canal and eardrum. It is so important to be able to see inside the ear to avoid guesswork related to itching, moisture, ear wax and pain. Further, the otoscope allows the nurse or family member at home to provide helpful information to a physician during a telehealth call.
