Funny Little Toy

Better than xenons
I bought xenon bulbs and wasn't impressed. Yeah the light was whiter but the beam seamed shorter and dimmer than the Sylvania bulbs I had replaced. Did a little internet research and decided to try the Philips. I was very pleased with the brightness and added distance.

Disappointing for steaks or pork chops......
Disappointing...I bought this to cook steaks and pork chops when weather isn't nice enough to grill outside.
Meat turns out like it was broiled or microwaved. I even experimented with thinner cuts. Pan frying makes a better steak or chop.
Might be better at making paninis, but that's not what I wanted it for.
