NWOBHM gem!
This album took me by surprise when I first heard it about 3 years ago. I was listening and researching the hundreds of NWOBHM bands that I could find on the internet. Bloodhounds by Ironcross is absolutely one of those underrated and hidden gems from that era. The great guitar work is what stands out here. Everything else like the vocals, bass and drums fall into place perfectly. There is a particular charm to the numerous NWOBHM bands that never became as popular as Iron Maiden or Tigers of Pan Tang but this an amazing recording and should be recognized as a fantastic release. Get this album if you can, highly recommended. This reissue version features demo tracks from the days before the 1982 Bloodhounds album was released.
