Apple iMac PowerBook G4 G5 AirPort Extreme WiFi Card A1026

Extreme isn't extreme these days.

I was happy to make my old eMac have a fresh breath of life by giving it wireless. Sadly, no one likes to post the specs for this. This is not a very fast wireless card; moreover, it doesn't connect with my AirPort Extreme in its draft mode. I have to,scale it back to 2.5 gHz so that it can connect. Doing this slows the entire network to a crawl. It'd be better to subnet and put it on a slow network just for it, I’m not doing that. I'll live and learn. I'll get an airport express and extend my network with it and plug my eMac into that port. It'll work much faster that way.

I like that this comes with a textbook which related the deck to other decks, discusses the historicity of the deck, the woodcuts these are from, and so much more.
