Fun idea, very uneven results.
I had heard about and seen this movie based really on the late Roddy Piper starring in the movie. I mean, how do you go wrong with the star of They Live? Plus, the rest of the cast was a who's who of current and retired professional wrestlers and porn stars, with passionate filmmakers behind the scenes. But with a weak script (to be expected), poor acting (aside from Piper although even he seemed to phone it in at times), weak and unconvincing effects and makeup, the movie falls flat on its face (or perhaps body slammed is a better analogy). Wrestling fans will love it, horror/zombie fans will be frustrated by it, and general exploitation and genre film fans may be amused by it. Enter at your own risk.
