Easy to use even for a novice
3 of 3 found this helpful The tool works very well, I have had one for years and ordered a second one as a gift. The tool is easy to use but I would like to have more to hold on to Nile using it. It's compact size only allows you to grasp it on the sides at the cutter head. If you put too much pressure on the arrow while working it back and forth it is easy to loose control. I found holding the tool with my left thumb and fingers at the cutter head, place the arrow in the grove with the end of the arrow lightly against the cutting head and with light pressure rock the arrow back and forth using the palm and fingers of your right hand worked best.

Worth the money
3 of 3 found this helpful The drill was exactly as I expected. Since I have other DeWalt cordless drills, however the 20 volt drill has more power. The impact on the other hand impressed me very well. It is amazingly light, strong and compact. I would highly recommend an impact driver for any DIY project. This DeWalt feels good and balanced in your hand. Don't take it's small size for granted, it has lots of tork.

Simple to operate
The tool was easy to get the hang of. I made several straight cut without any prior experience and dud very well. The key it to clamp your work piece so you can use both hands. I was cutting corrugated tin roofing and with one hand only it was a little difficult to navigate the ups and downs cutting across the tin. I am sure with a little practice it will be easy. I'm glad I bought the shear, it made the work easy and saved time.
