Light but faulty DVD reading
1 of 2 found this helpful While playing DVDs, often a reasonably loud spinning noise is heard and then the playing pauses. Occasionally, after a short while, playing resumes, but more often, it gets stuck or it jumps to somewhere in the next chapter. To overcome the stuck pause, one needs to turn off the DVD and turn it on again. This turning on and off works sometimes. If not, one has to start from the menu, select the chapter and uses the fast forward function to the pause point. It is a nuisance.
