Stylish run
4 of 4 found this helpful I have a few other eco-drives and several other watches, solar, battery powered and automatic. Since I rotate my watches, the automatics require resetting and the battery powered ones die way too soon. So when I buy now, I focus on solar powered options.
Most of my watches are silver colored metal or brown leather bands and either white or black faces. This was a little out of my comfort zone with the neon green and black band, but glad I took a chance. This looks classier in person than how it looks on the picture. The lume is pretty good when charged and the chronograph is easy to use. There isn't a lot of text that overwhelms the face like you see in some chronos. Keep in mind that the long skinny hand is the chronograph not the second hand. It does not move until you activate the stopwatch. The seconds are kept on the lower dial and that will move when the battery is charged.
My only complaint, and it doesn't really bother me is that the band is a little noisier than I expected. It doesn't make any noise on my wrist, but when holding the watch or putting it on, it is a little clanky. I have had a couple other watches like this, but it isn't ideal.

Awesome g-shock.
I really like this G-shock. The color is good and, unlike a lot of reviewers, I love the negative LCD display. I have no problem seeing it and it makes the face look pretty slick. It is about the size of most Gshocks and full of features: compass, tide, stopwatch, timer, thermomether. It is exactly what I wanted with the exception of solar powered. Maybe on the next g-shock.
