Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World
4 of 4 found this helpful I had read this book prior to buying it and had given my copy to my daughter.
This book contrasts the two sisters, Mary and Martha, and talks about their relationship to Jesus. It was a very insightful work that encouraged me to want to become more like Mary in closeness to Jesus, but it also showed me how to continue to be like Martha, a servant's heart, but to balance out my life by spending more time with the Lord. I ordered three more off of Ebay to share with my close friends. Wonderful book and author. Joanna Weaver has just released her latest book entitled "Having a Mary Spirit". Look forward to reading it too.
