I almost returned it...
4 of 4 found this helpful I own an iPhone 7 running the latest ios version (11?). When I tried the headphones for the first time I was amazed how lightweight they were and how comfortable they felt. I have sensitive ears and I'm quite picky when it comes to the in-the-ear earphones. These ones being over the ear, they don't exert any pressure on them.
But these were my only pros. When I started my music app and start listening to the 1st song I was quite disappointed. The sound felt average...yes it was clear but it felt flat, not immersive nor that surround sound feeling. After all these are high end headphones (my first ones actually) made by the most acclaimed speaker producer. On top of that, whenever I would skip a song, the volume would drop to half,so I would have to crank it up each time. Quite annoying - but this was the iPhone to blame, not the headset, just like iOS is not friendly anymore with my smart door lock. Luckily Mr google helped me and I went into settings and found the volume control, set it up to max and the problem disappeared. I've also found the equalizer function with dozen of different settings which added that richness I was looking for. Now they're perfect!
