About
eBay is a hobby; it could be a day (or more) before I reply to questions — I don’t own a ‘smart’ phone. and am often away from a computer. I frequently sell to non-UK eBayers, & make sure that the recycled packaging is to a good standard

- n***v (22)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseThe camera was posted very quickly and using 24hr tracked royal mail which exceeded my expectations and it was also packaged very cautiously and safely, keeping the camea fully intact. Not only was it as described in the eBay listing, but it was actually better since it included a small leather case for it I could attach to my bag or belt to carry the camera around more easily. This camera's value was amazing, super reasonable price and fully working order. Thank you very much!

"Who's Next" Album
I recently heard 'Won't get fooled again', a track off this album, and although I've heard it over the years, it really struck me this time as a really great track. So, I decided to buy the album. And there's that brilliant first track that's been sampled a lot: 'Baba O'Reily' - so this is where it comes from!! I thought it went under another title - Teenage Wasteland - as those words are repeated in the songs lyrics.
Rated to be one of the best Who albums by some, I am rediscovering old numbers and also listening out for 'mad' Keith Moon's drumming knowing what a self-destructive reputation he has.
The remastered CD has a 20 page booklet that's full of good info too.

Well worth listening to again
1 of 1 found this helpful I'd not heard this album, that came out in 2000, for perhaps a decade. I dismissed much of it at the time, partly as it was associated for me with the Millennium hype. However, 10+ years on the music and songs are haunting, moving, varied.
There are two versions of this album; the one I refer to is the main edition -- the other is the limited edition that has a slightly different track list.
I came across the song "Father, Son" on a compilation, not remembering that it came from "ovo" and thought the lyrics poignant; reflecting the father, son relationship that alters over time. A touch sentimental yet I like that!
I recently came across a mini-disk recording of the CD I made around the year 2000. Re-listening to it had me wanting to get the CD for best quality.

Jon Hopkins - Insides
I came across "Light Through The Veins" whilst searching for a certain kind of music: few or no lyrics, electronic and 'real' instruments, slight 'classical' sound, repetitive beats yet with movement and was intrigued by the title, then the sound of this track - released as a single with 2 other versions.
I really liked "Light Through The veins" - such an apt title as it moves from a simple riff reminding me of "Close Encounters" / spaceship signals to more layers coming in and building up a sense of lightness over a period of some minutes. As this track was so good I got the album to hear more from this UK composer who I had not come across before. I haven't been disappointed though the initial introduction is still my favourite. Overall, an interesting approach to, what is classified as "electronica". Simple melody that builds with a variety of beats, from rock to drum'n'bass sounds. Gentle melodies to savage beats and sounds.
