Nice affordable product with little time dedicated to replacement
Just as described and presented in the auction, and I am well pleased. I was able to review the removal of the present compressor and the installation of the new one on YouTube.

Defrost Timer Control & the Molex Connector near it.
The auction item was just what I was looking for. However, I later found that I believe the issue of the Defrost Cycle not coming on wasn't related to the Defrost Timer Control Switch but a oxidated contact in a Molex connector down near the Defrost Timer. I checked the previous timer on my workbench and it works properly and goes into defrost cycle and comes out of the defrost cycle, so now I have a good backup. Word to the wise.....make sure and check the connections in your Molex connector down near the timer, because that could be the culprit.....instead of the timer.

It is a good quality replacement part.....I'm very please with the purchase.
The end cover to the roof rack was listed as being "Pewter" which may have been the color name for another year Escalade. I was prepared to paint to match but when I received it ended up being the very same color as my '07 Escalade (Quick Silver). I was the right part.....and right color ! Hard to beat that !
