Duran type bottles
2 of 2 found this helpful These bottles are ideal for reliable, long term storage of chemicals or materials sensitive to moisture ingress. The GL45 caps seal well without to much tightening, although acidic vapours( particularly hydrogen halides) do bleach the colour out of them. Certain chemicals can damage the polypropylene caps eventually, but in general these are excellent containers, also being useful for any small items - pins, ball bearings, etc.
Highly recommended- I have loads of them...

Zuiko manual lenses
This was sourced/ bought to compliment a particularly fine OM4ti.
The Zuiko manual lenses are top quality, and this is no exception, with great image resolution-- although, the slower f1.8 gives slightly better edges opened up. The 1.4 does give a superb, bright viewfinder, and has that beautiful focus action only a helicoid screw M.F. lens can give. It is a solid, all- metal barrelled design, with a good feel to the aperture click- stops. It also looks great, and is much recommended as a lens for OM users. Fast lenses are highly desirable just for being 'fast', and I am delighted with it.

Canon's best 35mm slr film camera
3 of 3 found this helpful I bought this because I am a film fan, and particularly like the sound, ergonomics, etc of the 35mm slr camera.With the huge popularity of digital, film has fallen by the wayside, causing the used price of general film cameras to have dropped through the floor. Top flight,professional quality slr's can be obtained in good condition for, say, 20% of their new price. As a result, one can now possess the film camera they wanted 10-15 years ago, but could maybe not afford. The eos1vhs is a classic example of this; Canon's last and best pro film camera- costing about £2000 less than 10 years ago, but now a fraction of this.
BUT, even though now 'cheap', one gets one of the best film cameras ever made,(in the same vein as the F5 or Dynax 9),with all the accessory back up etc that made it great then. And remember, an old digital does not take good photos; whereas an old film camera does.
Canon eos1vhs;- big, heavy, ergonomically superb, great looking and sounding, pro spec camera that is as good as film 35mm slr's get.
