PSP GO. Awesome game system. Not for everyone. But worth a look at least.
2 of 3 found this helpful Let me get this out of the way, if you have a psp that uses UMD Disks, getting this is a total waste of time. It doesn't use UMD at all. Instead you get all your games from the PSN Store. This means you have re-buy all your games again. So beware.
That out of the way, this little unit is a tonne of fun to play around with. Even though the screen is smaller, than the original PSP, it looks crisper and more detailed. Games like Crisis Core, God's Eater Burst and Valkyria Chronicles 2 really look beautiful on the screen.
It's pocketable now,so the portable part of the name really applies. Once the unit is slid down, it easily fits into your pocket and doesn't feel bulky at all.
Battery life is pretty good. I got about 5 hours of solid gaming in with the screen brightness turned up.
Audio on this is brilliant! The speakers face out toward you, so the sound is clear and crisp and loud.
There is 16 GIG internal memory for homebrew and games, but only 14 are usable. You can expand this with an M2Card up to 16 GIG making the total 32, but with only 28 really usable. Even the SD card will make out it only has 14 GIG usable space.
So there is plenty of room for games, music, movies ect. On the internal i managed to get about 12 games and they were between the sizes of 400mb to 1.2gig.
A couple gripes can be said too though. Being smaller the controls are also more cramped. It's not bad for short gaming stints, but playing several hours will really cramp your hands. Also the circle pad is really awkwardly placed. For games like God's Eater Burst, and God of War that use the circle pad for movement, stretching your thumb does hurt after a while and changing hand positions doesn't make it any better.
This is a great addition to any mobile gamers library. It's fast, very portable and the build quality is also pretty decent. It wont die on you any time soon. If you haven't got a PSP yet, get this version of it. If you already have a PSP getting this wont make things easier for you. If you have a PSN account with psp games purchased already though, then I would upgrade to this model.
This model of the PSP isn't for everyone. But it is a solid gaming unit, and it will deliver on that front. I would highly suggest getting one. They aren't that expensive and PSP games are going for about the $10-15 mark on the PSN store.
All in all I give the PSP a 4.5 stars out of 5. Definitely worth a look at if you can get one cheap.

Great Product
A very good USB C controller for your phone. I've own 3 of these now. I love them. No latency at all between button presses. Comfortable enough to hold for extended periods. The only thing is, if you are using phones the size of a Galaxy S21 Ultra or that size, there is chance that it could push out & damage the controller cable for the left hand side can disconnect. If this happens either contact Razer support for help, or you can get your own from here on Ebay and replace it yourself. TLDR don't use very big phones with this. Otherwise no issues at all. Also you can use in conjunction with Mantis Gamepad app to remap buttons on games that don't normally support controllers.
