  IF THE FOOTMUFF, WAS NEVER USED... WHY DID YOU WASH IT??? IT ARRIVED IN A PLASTIC STORAGE BAG, I'M SURE IT WAS KEPT IN THIS, THEREFORE IT CAN'T HAVE GOTTEN DUSTY??? RIGHT...UNLESS YOU USED IT AND IT GOT MESSY. JUSTIFYING YOUR NEED TO WASH IT!
