Straightforward Installation, Great Lock, Minor App Complaints

Installation was pretty straightforward, even on our non-prepped door. This is our first smart lock. Operation is great, though when using the iOS app, it sometimes shows the wrong state (locked vs. unlocked), and can take a long time (minutes) to self-correct; I find the history to be a more reliable indicator of what last happened. It also sometimes takes awhile (on the order of a minute) to lock or unlock the door through the app, though at other times it is virtually immediate. Unsure if latency is due to Kwikset’s server, our local Internet connection (which is typically very fast), or something else. We don’t have a hub involved. It doesn’t seem to support the ability that some locks have to conceal your code from onlookers by allowing you to embed it within a bunch of otherwise random digits. Overall, a great lock that I would recommend.
