Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter v2
This product is a Microsoft version of many popular devices on the market, it’s strong points are a simplicity of use (although not exactly clear on the package instructions) and a great experience for Windows (8,10) users as well as most Android devices, which is a strong selling point, iOS is not yet supported although this might be available in the future)
One of the letdowns was the recommended app to update the device’s firmware through a windows pc, which was of little to no use(this is known to users and Microsoft has yet to address this issue).
Overall, a premium quality build and feel as expected from most newer Microsoft products, and a very responsive experience, which can double as a presentation connection point for Large screens and projectors.
The package includes a usb extender for harder to reach inputs constrained by space.
In short, This is a great buy for those who wish to move away from physical connections (hdmi, DisplayPort) and have a readily available wifi connection.
