Nokia N96 World Slowest and Most Expensive Nokia

To start it feels cheap, and keyboard is extremely hard to use.
The new Symbian OS does not give you any permission to install the software that you want, so unless you have weeks to spend searching the net for a solution or an advanced computer engineering degree you will pay big bucks for the applications. Free is not something applying to this phone.
GPS the offline navigation is only awailable from Nokia Maps and that for a very limited region and for a lot of money. Free navigation is only through 3G. So prepare to pay the same plan as iPhone.
The phone is cute but extremely slow. If you want to pay big bucks and wait and wait and wait, go for it... Forget DivX the phone is too slow for that so no movies…
And the battery 4 or 5 hours is a joke, it’s more like 45 min to an hour of intensive mp3 listening or internet surfing.The camera is great, but after 2 or 3 pictures the phone dies
AD2P is an option, but will work only with brand new Nokia accessories, so forget that blue tooth radio you have or that stereo headset.
The warranty is only applicable in the original purchase country. So if you buy a new phone and have a problem with it, you will need to send it to China or Europe for service.
Worst purchase I ever made… Read around and you will see, actual users switching to N95 or going off to iPhone or Blackberry…

Wonderful watch!
1 of 1 found this helpful The watch is stylish and very functional the workmanship is surprisingly great. Only problem was that the bracelet was much lighter in color than the picture but still a good quality.
