Lowrance GlobalMap® 4900M GPS Receiver

This unit does all that the more pricy units do at a reasonable price. It is network 2000 compatable for easy addition of other electronics. I fish on boats with both color and monochrome units and I can not read the color units with my polorized sunglasses on. I don't like taking my sun glasses on and off so I opted for the monochrome. I do think the color units are great, but this unit suits me just fine. The two SD card drawer allows me to use both a navigation chart and a fishing chip with higher details, simply by switching back and forth with a couple of button pushes. Time will tell if I want to upgrade to a color unit?
