As expected, which is good and perfectly functioning
1 of 1 found this helpful It’s what we have come to expect from Apple: simple, high quality but not the highest. I have no doubt there are better sounding and better looking earphones (wireless or not), but Apple always manages to merge these qualities with added simplicity in a way no other does.
Open the case and it connects to your phone, no issues. Quality of sound is good, and battery is never an issue.
The charging case is a simple yet hugely accretive feature - obviously when the Airpods are not being used they will be stored in a case... so why not put a battery pack in there!
As more people get them, they become less unusual and out of the ordinary, and more every day.
One quip - they could have more touch functionality (e.g. volume up/down, next track, etc.) instead of only siri and answer call.
