Nikon Coolpix L4 4.0 megapixel..One of the best!
This is the best 4.0mp digital camera out there. Nikon makes some of the best cameras on the market and this is one of them. It is only 4.0 megapixels but don't let that fool you. The camera is perfect size, not too small not too big. It could use a larger LCD viewing screen, but it takes great pictures! The best part about this camera is that you can set it on scene mode and customize the picture to what you are taking a picture of. For example, if you are taking a close up of someones face, you set it on portrait and then it gives you an outline on the LCD screen to line up their face with to make sure you get a great shot everytime! It has tons of settings including nightshot, sports mode, scenic mode, fireworks mode, indoor/party mode, and on and on. It also captures video but unlike sony, the video doesn't have audio which is a little lame. I set it on sunset mode once and took a beautiful clear snapshot of the sun setting. The software that comes with it is easy to use. It uses Picture Project to upload your pics and you can edit, make picture projects and slideshows of your pictures on there as well. It takes superb pictures in color, black and white, and sepia. It only has 16mb of internal memory so you do need to get an extra memory card. I have a 128mb card in mine and I have taken 100 pictures so far and still have more to go. I bought mine at walmart for $149.99 which is very reasonable. The only problem with this camera is that if you use it a lot, the battery life isn't very long, but I think that most digital cameras are the same way. So keep a couple of extra AA batteries handy (preferably rechargables.)The camera also comes with a cord to connect it to your TV to view the pictures. I never leave home without it. It is probably the best purchase I have made this year. I have had digital cameras in the past and this model by far is the best. Pros- Pretty much everything on the camera Cons- Battery Life and Video mode has no sound UPDATE- 9-14-2008: This is an update on this review that I had written a while back. I still have this camera and it still works great, just like new. I have dropped this camera a dozen+ times and it has never broken or given me trouble. It is a very solid camera for sure. I still wish it had audio with its video mode, but if you are mainly going to take pictures with it, its a great camera. 4MP isn't a lot anymore, but the pictures are still crystal clear. I am pleased that Nikon cameras use regular SD memory cards. Its a pain to deal with Sony cameras because they use their own type of memory cards. You obviously can't buy this model new anymore, but knowing what I know about this model now, I would trust to buy one used. When I decide to buy a higher Megapixel camera, I will definitley stick with Nikon.

    Canon Pixma MP210 All-In-One Printer. Purchased 8-19-08
I spent 2 weeks researching reviews on All-in-One printers. I have been very disappointed with the past two Lexmark printers I have owned. After much researching I found that Canon is leading the market in quality printers. I needed a simple all-in-one printer so I found the Canon Pixma MP210. Its very nice looking. It is rather large though, a little bulky, but its still nice. So far I have had it about 3 weeks and I am pleased with it. I have windows vista and this printer installed very easily with no troubles at all. The colors are nice and the text is clear. It is a little bit slow at printing, but because I bought this printer for light, personal use, I can handle it being a bit slow. If you are buying one for an office setting, I wouldn't recommend this one simply because it is slower than most, and it is a very basic all-in-one printer. I am happy with this printer and from now on will steer clear of any Lexmark printers.

    Great game for little kids!
My daughter just turned 5 and she has been wanting a Game boy. I recently purchased a GB advance and also bought Franklin the turtle game. I am very pleased with the game. I like the fact that it has a bunch of mini games on it. It allows her to have a variety of fun games to play. It is a good way to keep them from getting bored with just one type of gameplay. The controls are very simple to use and my 5 year old learned in a day how to play them. There are only a handful of Early Childhood rated Game Boy advance games and this is one of the best ones I have purchased so far.
