Perfect.

The sound produced doesn't match the size or price. It sounds better and is louder than the 4 speaker system I have that cost 4 times as much. I'm impressed!

HPS Shortram Air Intake for 96-97 Lexus SC400 4.0L V8 Black

A must have

If you’re looking at this intake you’re probably trying to decide if you want to spend the money on this or DIY a BFI using your stock intake. (SC400 forums diy method) I wanted to keep my stock intake intact for when and if I sell the car. The claimed hp and torque increase seemed too good to be true. I assure you they’re not embellished numbers. After installing the intake the power increase was very noticeable, especially at low rpms. The car really wakes up off the line now. And that’s not even the best part... the sound.... ooooh the sweet sound of the 1uz coming out of this intake is like a symphony. The sc400 has been called soulless by some, this simple add-on gives the car a mean bark and changes it’s demeanor from luxury coupe to a athletic grand tourer. Buy it, you won’t regret it. It’s what your car deserves. (And the product is incredibly well built and fits perfectly)
