310573GS Fuel Valve

This replaced the factory OEM on our Generac 4000XL. The factory one was loose and I attempted to tighten the jam nut but it broke at the threads. It seems the factory did not screw it all the way in and then tighten the jam nut. Makes sense to break at the 3rd thread. Sucks when it broke since 4 gallons started to run out and I had to drag this around the garage to get a coffee can to catch it until I found a bucket. Lesson learned to always have a bucket BEFORE you mess with any gas petcocks. But this replacement (bought 2 for backup) works and seemed tougher then the factory one. Generator back up and running like it was factory new.

Kinda disappointing

VGA to hdmi works . Audio does not work. Connected desktop sound port to this unit. Unit then connects to a 65" Hisense Smart Tv. The converter isn't taking the analogue sound and making it digital for the tv. So my backup plan was to connect a pair of computer speakers to the desktop sound port. I may even connect those to the amp receiver now that I know the converter doesn't source the sound.
