Good quality
0 of 1 found this helpful This will keep you warm for an hour or more, It costs 1.5 c to boil one itre of water. A 1kw heater will cost 40c in that hour. Made to Australian Standards so one may feel it is safe and well made. You don't want a suspect quality one to leak or break.

Inconsistent quality producing discernable flutter when join transits the drive spindle
Got two of these. Both are are inconsistent quality. The join is lumpy and produces a noticeable periodic flutter at playback. Rubbing fingers along the band you can feel inconsistencies. Don't think it is the turntable because the original band (which broke after years of service) gave a steady sound. Best spend on a decent quality drive band.

Holds the binoculr steadsy
It holds binoculars far steadier than the equivalent bulkier plastic adapters going for about the same price elsewhere. Vibrations dampen more quickly in less than two seconds and even accommodates pressing eyes against the cups with little movement of the image. Tested on a Velbon PH-157Q tripod. 15x70 and 10x50 binoculars.
