the plugs are great - but buying a used one is tricky
0 of 1 found this helpful i have 3 of these working now. they are great. drawback though is that if the plug has been "attached" to one account and you try to use it on your network you can't access it remotely. it works the same, but will have a warning that it can't be used remotely.
tech support at TP link was incredibly bad. 2 hours. zero help.
so they work well, are pretty and the kasa app is very straightforward, but buy new or from someone techie enough to "delete" from their network before shipping it to you.
