Longest battery = best option for the active livestyle
It is a shame this type of mp3 player is no longer being made. The GB means you have up to 20 hours of music or lectures. the unlit interface means that the batter can last 8 hours or more, and if you need more, buy another battery. most other players assume you live a simple life where you sleep next to a computer to charge it every day.. some of us have more active lives.

2 of 2 found this helpful Off camera he was even nicer. This book was published after his death and has a collection of his sayings and of his favorite thoughts from other people. It includes commentary from his wife and their background. The most loved man in the world's ideals are here to help us in the challenging times ahead. To know more about Mr. Rogers is to love him more, and to know he loved you too, just the way you are.

Good Battery Life, but 2 design flaws give an overall Average result.
Battery life - Excellent. This clip is heavier than similar sized clip mp3's because it is one of the few clips with decent battery life. It charges with the relatively common miniUSB port.
Features - Excellent. Because it is minimal. No battery gobbling screen. Only the minimum features. A simple play/pause button. A stop keeps you in the same song at the same place. Volume controls are also forward and back.
Design - Poor. Because the headphone jack is not the standard 3.5 mm, AKA 1/8 inch plug. Not compatible with real headphones, just 2.5 mm AKA 3/32 mini plugs. Therefore you need an adapter, which counteracts the smaller size of the clip. This part was just plaing fraud. Package should have a warning banner on it. Its not a real mp3 player if you can only plug in the special crappy headphones it ships with. Extending the case a few millimeters would have been fine, would have allowed a regular headpone plug, and might have helped with the other design flaw.
The front play pause button jams. In an effort to put its crappy "style," over function, the play pause button is in a position and is formed in a way that it will jam in the down position frequently, rendering the piece inoperable until it is jiggled up again, which takes about 5 or 6 attempts over 3 to 4 seconds.
These guys need to fire their artists and managers and just let the designers or engineers make something useable.
A better plan would be something square, reliable, and water resistant.
The battery life, about 5 hours, is the thing that salvages this clip.
