Brain Quest Workbook Grade 1
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a great multi-subject tool for teachers and tutors. It is not loaded with too much information that can sometimes confuse or overwhelm a student, especially if the student has learning disabilities or challenges. It's colorful, engaging, and age-appropriate. I especially love the stickers, flash cards, and printable award certificates in the back of the book.
I bought this book because it is convenient since it has math, science, language arts, and social studies all wrapped up in one book! I wish there was a 5th grade edition, though.

Space Facts Pocket Size Reference Book
This compact book is packed with a lot of handy information. Good tool for elementary aged children to use when doing research, book reports, or simply out of curiosity. However, you need to have good eyesight or wear glasses to see some of the fine print. Other than that, it is a convenient resource for fast facts.
