This unit I bought came with the seal and the unit not attached that you have to install the seal to unit. The problem I have was the seal is too thick that when you install the unit to the car frame not seating properly which makes the clips keep popping out. I believe the original unit has seal already attached for easy quick installation. Thus, I have order another unit from a different seller and hopefully will receive a better one.
