Cut out and died after a few minutes when brand new
24 of 25 found this helpful I was so excited to start using this. Unfortunately, it seems to overheat within five or six minutes--not long enough to get my hair done. Happened the first time I used it, straight out of the box. Red light started flashing less than a quarter of the way through drying my hair. Wouldn't turn back on. Looked up what it meant, and it said to clean the filter. What? This is brand new; literally its maiden voyage. It cooled down and I was able to turn it back on about 20 minutes later. It again lasted only a few minutes before cutting out with the flashing red light. Makes me think it wasn't truly refurbished or tested before it was re-sold. Super disappointed and seeking a return/refund.
