Good, cheap basic brake blocks
Good basic replacement for low-end bikes where you don't care about originality.

Good if it fits
Suitable OEM or reproduction hoods don't exist for many vintage brake levers. Consequently, people try whatever they can get their hands on. If these hoods for, they are fine. They fit vintage Dia-Compe and Weinmann levers. They were a bad fit for early Dura-Ace levers. YMMV.
