Better tone by far - worth it!
1 of 1 found this helpful I've been building a new stompbox pedalboard and I happened to see the AnalogMan modded DS-1 on ebay hours after I ordered a brand new stock DS-1. As soon as the AnalogMan arrived I did a side by side comparison and the modded version won hands down, no question. Far better tone, quieter, and touched by the magic of Analog Mike. It made the stock DS-1, which is not a "bad" sounding distortion, sound thin and cheesy by comparison. This pedal will always be on my board, right next to my AnalogMan King of Tone (another killer tone machine).
