Great item if you don't have a T or 90 degree hard bend in plumbing before plug.

This product would be great if we didn't have all hard 90 degree angle/T bends where we had to put this item into plumbing as item will NOT bend that much. Seeing we couldn't get it to plugged area; which was a straight pipe. it didn't get out the plug and then when you shut off your water to take this out, all the water will all back up into your house. So make sure your plumbing has an opening that allows this to get next to the plug or it doesn't work right. Even if it does get next to the plug; it will back up water into your home if doesn't remove the plug or if you have to turn off the water before the plug is removed. Also watch the lowest area in your plumbing to make sure the water isn't backing up and causing flooding.

Great features; however filters in back were in wrong order which kept unit from turning on.

Received the unit in great condition. Took the back off to put the ceramic filter in and the other filters were in the wrong order; didn't notice this at first, so when we tried to turn the unit on it wouldn't go on. There is a metal switch (long skinny piece of metal) on the right hand side on the inside of the unit where you put the filters. In the manual it states this has to be up; which means forward. So the filters have to push this forward or the unit will NOT turn on! So if you get this; make sure to look in the manual for the proper filter placement. Once these few things are figured out and you can turn it on; it works awesome. We live in the mountains; between the smoke from the wood burning stoves, pollen and dust we were always sneezing. Only had the unit on for a half of an hour and there's already a marked improvement in the air quality in our home. Hooray!
