Excellent pasta maker.
5 of 5 found this helpful I was concerned that the machine was constructed with plastic, but when opening the machine it is clear this is a heavy duty product. The main shaft is substantial metal and the plastic is heavy gauge. My first test run produced an excellent egg noodles. Easy to clean if you let the pasta dry first. I’ve used if a number of times it’s a first rate machine. However, after my purchase I discovered no other discs are available I was planning on purchasing several more. Lasagna and angel hair in particular.

EXCELLENT VALUE AND QUALITY
1 of 1 found this helpful Winsor and Newton Cotman Series Studio Set is a lovely set in a good quality lightweight plastic palette with 12 mixing areas of two different sizes. The mixing areas lay flat and one is detachable supplying ample colour mixing sections. The palette includes a space for brushes that will squeeze in 3 brushes of various sizes. I would suggest the Cotman series of brushes as well, they seems of hold a lot of water and are not overly pricey. I have used the same Cotman brushes for over 15 years.
This set includes the full range of the Cotman series of colours with five duplicates of the most used colours, including ultramarine and yellow ochre; the only downside is the addition of two whites and blacks, which I personally don't use.
These paints are not artist quality, but they are a well respected long-established brand of good quality. The pans allow for a novice a quality paint at a reasonable price.
As a painter might want of explore the artist quality paint from W&N the half pans pop out and can be replaced.
This set should last for many years of enjoyable painting. I would highly recommend this set.
