Can you hear me now?
2 of 2 found this helpful I bought this phone after scouring the wwb reviews for a phone that would pick up a signal where none had before (a dang near impossible review to find since most reviews are about touch screens and internet access and applications)- It exceeds my expectations and I have been able to communicate in areas no one EVER gets a signal having four available bands to access. As a person drawn more to the call signal, pictures, and texting aspects of a cell, this phone has all the bells and whistles I need. Doesn't matter that the camera has no flash, it works wonderfully in night mode and the additions of "frames" makes pics entertaining. The menu and setup is easy to navigate and customize, volume is great, speakerphone articulate, texting easy with good writing options and nice animations to insert. Battery life is ample even in areas it's searching for the signal. Haven't found any dislikes yet, other than one has to "debrand" the phone from ATT programming to open up all free applications, ringtones, games, etc.(it's an easy process to change however) If you have the chance, get the w760i which is the non-ATT programmed model. I am so excited about this phone, and I haven't even began to discover all its tricks. I highly recommend if you're not a fan of touchscreens, and you need sturdiness and call reliability this is the phone for you.

Better than expected
1 of 1 found this helpful Being a Samsung fan, I knew the product I was buying. It came in excellent condition- like new, perfect working order, and fully charged. I was replacing an old s4 with a very cracked screen and recently failing sim card reader, and had been communicating solely via email or facecrack. Being an on-call employee that can only be acceptable for so long. After shopping a bit I found the refurbished s5 actives were about the same price as refurbed s4s. My job subjects phones to liquids, dust, drops etc. and couple that with my clumsiness...not a good brew for the life of a phone. The active is a great upgrade for me, and I look forward to an adventurous future with a phone that can take some tough love. I love that there are buttons at the bottom instead of sensors. I don't care that there's not a fingerprint lock- actually prefer that there is not. Of course there is the usual bloatware upon initializing the setup, but most can be disabled or deleted. The phone came with a screen protector which was Awesome! Shipping was as expected though I paid for faster and should have known better as nothing ships to Tahoe from across the country in less than four days. Regardless, the item arrived and I am more than happy with my choice!
