One stop shopping from the Conservative Icon: Buckley.
I hesitate to say how much I like this book since it will drive up the price. Here in concise little one or two paragraph summations, the conservative intellectual giant, William F Buckley, holds forth on all the issues and people of the day. This book has sent me scrambling to buy more books about the fascinating issues and people he recalls. In his terse, penetrating and often funny manner, Buckley illustrates the width of his intellect as he illuminates all the movers, shakers, and ideas of the 20th century. This is the perfect book for the reader who has never read any of his other books since it is a summation of his philosophy. This book is one of the finest in my library! Do not miss it.
