You get what you pay for
The right side broke when I went to record my second tape (if you record on it or play from it you now only get the left ear). I'm only a little disappointed since this was far cheaper than any other cassette recorder I could find, just don't have high expectations for it.

SCREWS DONT REACH
The screws aren't long enough. They do not reach the sockets. You can get them touching and turn them about 180 degrees before they stop turning and that's it. Less than a millimeter is connecting them to the frame. There were 3 out of 16 screws that I couldn't even get to attach at all!!! I was able to get it to stand straight but I couldn't make it not be wobbling if I put pressure on it, and I cannot at all feel ok about putting 150 records on it if I care at all about 10 of them (and I care a lot about like half of them). Will never buy another from this brand and I strongly recommend staying away from it.
