Waste!
These packets are really a waste of money and to the environment. Yes they help with humidity, but don't last long (less than a month here in the southwest) and cannot be re-used. It should be simple to get moisture back into the material - instead you have packets of toxic waste going to landfills. Save yourself and the planet from the waste and get the clay humidifier packs that can be soaked and used over and over again
