Lighted bubble makes for easy viewing

I have owned 4 of these levels. The main innovation here is the lighting of the bubbles. If you have ever worked in the trades, you can imagine how useful this is. If you are in an area that is not well lit (which is normal) or if the bubble is becoming obscured by dust and grime over time (also normal) or if you're just getting up there in years, this is the product for you. The glowing bubble does an OUTSTANDING job of making the level easy to read. Every time I use it at a new job site , my buddies at work all want to check it out (a lot of them are older and they can use the help with the eyes). Also, the frame of the level is aluminum rather than some cheap PlastiCrap (that's a word of my own invention). Furthermore, this level features rare earth magnets that are extremely strong. I have even tied a string to this thing and dropped it down to pick up a stranded tool on occasion. The Savage Lightning used to be blue but Swanson changed the color. They are excellent. These levels usually last me about a year and a half to two years as I use them six days a week. I have had two expire due to corrosion experienced in a salt-air environment. I have dropped the third a few too many times from height. I am on number four now. I can't go back to a standard torpedo level.
