Not bad once you flash it
1 of 1 found this helpful Overall, I wanted to investigate looking into a Wireless-N router that was not only cheap, but could be flashed with linux firmware and enhance its potential. Standard linksys firmware by all means, sucks. It is buggy, drops signals, and I've always as long as I can remember, had to reboot the thing once every couple weeks to a month, which would only occur more as the routers got older. With this routers ability to be flashed with DD-WRT, it runs absolutely fine and stable. No issues whatsoever. I can run a FTP site with no issues, carry out VoIP convos on my phone, and downloading is pretty nice too. For all of you that whine and complain about linksys routers being horrible, try flashing it. Worth the five minutes to do, and makes the router a lot better. Ive had this router for almost 3 months now without even having to reboot it. Only reason this router gets a good rating, is because I bought another one just like it so I could do a repeater/WDS setup, but since the firmware on this type of router doesn't support it, it crashes when trying to set it up that way. Little disappointed, but not the routers fault I suppose. Overall, great deal for the price I got :-D
