Flaky, drying, and blinding
0 of 2 found this helpful I wanted to like this product as I heard so much good about it and I'm looking for a new go-to mascara. I don't know if this was massively over-hyped or I just got a bad batch, but it was terrible for me. I'm so glad I didn't pay full price and I'm looking to return it. The first thing I noticed was that it made my lashes very curled and thick by applying massive amounts of product to my lashes for a very thick and gloppy and dramatic effect. This might have been okay because I think that's a look that people go for and what this product is meant to do. The second thing I noticed about 5-10 minutes later was the flaking. It started off small and I brushed a couple flakes out of my eyes. They longer I had it on the worse it got until I felt like I had sand in my eyes and I couldn't keep my eyes open. It also burned. The second it got close to my eyes while it was still wet it burned my eyes like a toxic chemical. After about 20 minutes I had to wash it all off and put a warm water compress on my eyes to wash them out and sooth them. At this point I was thinking I had to return it, but since I already payed money for it I tried it one more time. This time I took most of the product off the brush before applied it. This time it applied better and didn't flake as much. I was able to wear it all day, but that night when I washed it off I went through the flaking all over again as soon as the water hit them. Not only that, but my eyelashes felt dry and my eyes very soar from being scratched so much. To top it off the mascara brush is a little too big for the opening of the mascara so when you put the brush back in it squeezes the product off the brush and it oozes out of the container. It's very messy and it wastes a lot of product. I know a lot of people looove this mascara and they claim it does miracles. If you want to try it don't let me stop you. Every mascara works differently for different people.

Good for a while
I got this because it's the right size to to fit in my backpack and I like the design. It was really cheap so I'm not mad about the quality, but I do don't think it's going to last very long. It's so thin and it's not lined. The strap also feels weak.
